I have the biggest issue with brain dead ranks complaining about the « TDM meta » praising the changes they made with the sights and ADS speeds when in reality it didn’t change anything at all. People just adapted to a new set of skills to continue the gameplay of gunfights. Though this is not only an issue with the player base but also the thé dev team as well, as all they have done for years is balance in circles around deaf numbers and professional play. (Yes I understand the paradox between Kapkan Kyle and Ranked Ryan’s.) Been playing since Y1 and I’ve completely lost interest around Y8 but there is no competitor for this game. (Hype for the Greek operator bc Greek but it’s still not enough to care). Siege shouldn’t have reduced ADS speed nor change attachments. 1.5 should have stayed and all sights should have been able to be used by attackers. Allowing attackers to pick whatever sight they want to make plays while still keeping some zoom on defense and as a balancing effort. Attachments and verity is always a plus for a player. Several ops need reworks and also need to let go of their « identity » for better advances in their gadgets and play styles. This means swapping out gadgets and weapons from loadouts to pave new ways of play and decision making when creating loadouts and set ups for maps. (Give kali a DMR, give Mira the UMP + 1.5 and the CZ, give Tachanka the RPK/D, give Nøkk a new set of weapons etc.) these changes aren’t for the sake of balance but for fun, giving players new avenues on the same stale and sometimes under used or butchered operators. Attachments need a severe change as almost now all operators follow the uniform of Vert+Flash+2.5 with little variation. Swap up and make the attachments have some sort of relative function instead of the fringe case, like Ela’s skorpion using compensator instead. This is already an essay and I can go on, siège needs a proper developer to put the TTS to actual use and someone daring enough to balance for a better siege…

When in doubt, mod the game. Make custom servers. Hell look at fighting games they’re doing it revives games with how player actually wanna play the game or just in a new way with the same assets.

They need another defender with a shield, and another attacker with a shield. A tactical shooter like this should have the option for attack to run all shields as based on real life scenarios. The defender should be a trapper that slows or knocks down with a gadget but has a shield. The attacker should have an automatic weapon with a base shield to provide cover fire and support but I guess a Blackbeard rework would do it anyway; the gap here is the missing option for all shields to attack
